Richard M. Daley (born April 24, 1942) is the current mayor of Chicago. He was elected mayor in 1989 and reelected in 1991, 1995, 1999 and 2003. If he is re-elected, Mayor Daley will break his father's record as longest-serving Chicago mayor on December 25, 2010.
